The good thing in all of this is it exposes the true racism in the city for all to see on display. Bravo to Tara Wicker for standing up to it. She is more of what our city needs at this point. The others need to get flushed down the sewer where they belong.

You should be able to replay the live stream from Facebook. But I’ll give cliffs soon when I get some more time.

Last night, someone actually claimed NBR was experiencing taxation without representation. Someone else blamed the republican council members for the lack of development in NBR.

When I saw that and realized these people actually believe the reason there's no Costco or 5 star restaurants being built in the hood is because of the metro council, I then understood why North BR will continue to decline until it looks like the neighborhoods in Detroit. All the houses gone and 90% of the neighborhoods being reclaimed by trees and grass.

Agree totally with the host that it should have been solely district 8 residents deciding who should represent them. Not people outside of district 8.

I admire her for doing the right thing and for standing up against the racists, but as mayor what would her agenda be?

Most people in BR, myself included, would love to see a revitalization of NBR. I go to Sacred Heart church and the areas surrounding it could be nicer (I know City Park and the Garden District are mixed in but I am obviously not talking about them). I hate to see what Florida Blvd looks like from downtown to Denham. The problem is, even if you dumped a shitload of money to build nice things, the savages living there would rob and pillage it to the point where it would be destroyed in less than 3 months to a year. The people living there have to change it not the other way around. Until that day, NBR continues to be stagnant and dangerous.

Banks said the reason crime is out of control in North BR is because the cops live outside the parish and park their cop cars in front of their homes.

The cop cars, if parked in North BR, would decrease crime....

But Fat Gary brought more people so they get to control district 8 now.

The goal for the shite stain cabal was to get another democrat on the seat to be able to start the separation of the parish government. They can't do it on their own but they can vote to get it put on the next election to let the people decide. Their hope is that they get it on the ballot in March with low voter turn out.

What's funny is the turds speaking last night want the same thing St George people want. However the turds last night are against St. George because they need their money.

They'd all be sitting on blocks if they were parked in the areas they patrol.
