Well he said what he said when it was a raw emotion. It was less of a politically influenced statement. In other words, that’s how he truly felt. To walk it back and apologize took a good bit away. The entire problem I have with what the four were trying to do is they were effectively trying to disenfranchise a district that voted overwhelmingly republican in hopes that honor code would put a dem in. If they want a vetting process with longer timelines that’s fine. If they want the lines redrawn there is a process for that. If they want to alter the plan of government be my guest. I’ll vote in favor of that all day.

I love how they think the lines should be redrawn. They rep the entire parish. It’s the METRO council.
The parish is 57% white... 7/12 is... 58.3%. If anyone is underrepresented it’s Asians. But we don’t hear them complaining.

Without a doubt. Like I said earlier the hypocrisy was hilarious. They want to amend the plan of government to have separate city and parish govnernment but don’t believe st George should go up for a vote even if it meets the legal requirements to for doing so. Laughable.
