Clean, what's going on with this call at the plate?

First, he was ruled safe. After the umpires huddled, they reversed the call because the runner left his feet. Then they called to Williamsport and the ruling was that you can leave your feet as long as you don’t dive headfirst.

Eastbank had two errors that should have been easy outs to end innings and Lafayette got timely hits to score those runs. Pitching was very good on both sides.

I was there too. Excellent game. Seems that the umpires should know the rules by the time they get to that level. I think the same kid had the game winning hits in the semifinal and again tonight.

yep laffy moving on to represent the state.
Some great baseball being played in this year with so many travel ball kids coming back for their 12u age group. If only more would come back atleast for their 12u season it would be big.
Eastbank winning really helped a ton, hopefully Laffy wins the whole thing too.
because of eastbank winning SLC was able to get like 6 kids back from travel ball including the Jordan Griffin kid who is a top 15 player in the whole nation in that age group.

11-12u majors.
So in semi slc was up like 5-1 on Laffy late and blew it. They dropped to losers bracket and got beat by eastbank. Eastbank had to beat Laffy twice, they lost in first game.
