I didn’t bother him but he’s been about my only celebrity sighting as well. He was in the college gym where I went to grad school just playing pickup with some undergrads. Seemed like a normal guy

You should have offered to slow the game play down to a medium pace

I give Sandler a 0.350% chance of uttering the phrase Kung Flu.

When you approach someone gushingly quoting movies and songs and wanting selfies and their number and all sorts of nonsense, they usually tell you to frick off.

When you approach someone as if they're another human being, they're usually nice.

That's my limited experience with celebrities.

Ok. I can agree on this.... but you know what?????? I’m a regular guy too and I don’t care about celebrity status.... any movie star or rock star or whoever puts there pants on just like me everyday.....

Do they have more talent then me???? Sure, BUT deep down they are just regular people......

Approaching celebrities is for children. Nod, waive if you must but leave people alone.

Schwarzenegger and Adam Sandler were the only 2 Hollywood type I idolized growing up. If I see either in public there’s no way I’m not at least saying hey to them. I’m not going to be a loser and quote one of their movie lines though.

When I met my favorite band I just told them “hey thanks for what you guys do for us. Please keep making music.”

Honestly based on the 2nd quote, I believe your story. Sounds like something he would say.
