Mens Dress Shoe Advice

I have five pair of dress shoes that I have had between 10 and 15 years each.
I sent in all 5 pair and had new soles put on last year. These shoes stay on cedar shoe trees and get polished at least quarterly, but usually more depending on how often I wear them. They all look brand new.
I am simplifying a bit and trying to own less stuff in general, so I want to get down to two pair if possible.
Currently I have:
Black Oxfords
Brown Oxfords
Brown split toe penny loafers
Cordovan Oxfords
Cordovan and Black saddle oxfords.
The penny loafers get worn the least, and I don't care for them, so they are an easy donate.
My questions is could I get rid of the solid cordovan and solid black shoes and just use the saddle oxfords?
Can a cordovan and black shoe take the place of a solid black or solid cordovan shoe in any circumstance?

I think they are too casual for dress in business setting- I would stick to solid black.
They are better suited for a sports coat and slacks.

Why do you need more than 1 pair of black and 1 pair of brown? And what the frick does a cedar stand have to do with anything?

Keep the shoes. All of them. Good selection but don't tie yourself in.

Your feet sweat all day long and it gets absorbed into the leather. It cause the uppers to get creases, and crack. The cedar shoe treas draw the moisture out and reinforce the shape in the shoe. Even if you are wearing cheap dress shoes keeping them on shoe trees will p keep them looking good and prolong their life.
A cheap pair of dress shoes is $100 these days, so a little maintenance is a good idea.

Gotta have a black Oxford for formal situations.
I'd keep the brown Oxford as it will go well with more outfits than any of your others.
You can get by with just those two.
I'd get a 3rd,more casual blutcher as well to give you some flexibility.

You could get rid of the cordovan.....you will need solid black.

I prefer the cordovan oxfords as there is less or no stitching on the shoe and I personally wear penny loafers with jeans so I would keep them.
