You unknowingly answered your own question. The thing is we haven't been threatened by war for the longest time in our history. So rather than being always ready to "man up", the younger generation is all about feelings and other gayish type stuff. I was never in the military but with the lack of stability in the world, I try to keep in somewhat fighting shape (resistance, cardio, shooting practice) in case something happens I'll be somewhat ready.
Side note : everytime I see an extremely obese person I wonder what they would do of we were to ever be invaded (God forbid) and had to run, hide, and fight for any reason.
Tl, Dr. Men got too comfortable and became soft because we live in the safest time for first world countries.

Bingo.....the ugly, fat, gay,nerds, illegals, just needed to come out of their mythical suppression. They needed the world to know who they were. Even though nobody really gives a F*ck. Never been to a gender reveal party, and don't plan on it.
2 kids, no "push presents".
Never had a professional take our pictures. iPhone + good lighting works just fine.
