This quote is insinuating this is normal and regular encounters. I’m saying no they are not. That’s why I asked for links because I do not know any man in my life that would be upset that his wife makes more than him
Things people say on the internet are not indicative of real life. I havr seen where men say shite like that. But that wasn't to insinuate that's what your average person thinks.
I have met multiple guys who like to frick fat chicks. But that doesn't mean your average man or most men find fat women attractive.

Read through some of the threads on here, there’s definitely guys afraid of powerful/smart/dominant women
Outside of the "dominate" in your response I think most discussions are more getting tired of hearing that is reason Hillary didn't win, wen women use it to write off anyone disagreeing with them, when ugly women use phrase to explain dating problems, or when a true bitch uses phrase to disregard their own attitude and how they treat people even if males called out for same poor treatment and attitude. I am sure there are some exceptions, but I doubt even those "fear" or are "afraid" of smart and powerful women any more than they might be intimidated by smart and/or powerful people in general regardless of sex.
I have seen this phrase also used by women about women who disagree with them or who criticize them in how they treat people. It's mostly used as another political phobia like homophobia for gays and islamophobia for Islam except some women need to throw in additional adjectives to hear out loud a lot to enforce them in their own minds and in an attempt to also put themselves above other women who they feel are still enabling patriarchy.
Women putting down other women is a bigger issue than men fearing smart and powerful women.

Taking issue with the success of women - typically by dismissing their success for some reason without evidence.
Not very educated or economically successful.

Also when you say "loser", what criteria are you using to make this distinction?

Would love to meet one of these.

So what's the line for economically successful or not?
$100k/year? And everyone below that is a loser?

Oh, come on, dippy, I’ve known a dozen men like that, including my dad.

Well if that’s ALL she wants to do, then sure. But if you feel that way about all women who want to do that, then the flaw is with you.

Nope.
Financial stable. There is no specific figure.
Educated teacher making $50,000 per year that lives within their means > uneducated plant worker that makes $90,000 per year but is $100,000 in debt.

Listen up kiddo, women that “stay home” and “watch kids” are probably smarter than you.
I know plenty of women that all have degrees, MBA’s or nursing degrees that have married well but they don’t just sit around and watch TV all day.
I promise you, these women are out of your league, they don’t have anything to say to you.
They’re more motivated and successful than you are with your 9-5, they laugh at you punching a clock everyday.

Can’t argue with that
But what’s her salary?

Probably an outlier, right?

No. The plant operator makes 190K.

They really think most men prefer a silent housewife. We want a go getter just like they do.
Posted on 1/1/20 at 9:23 pm to jcaz
A stay at home mom that keeps the house in order and clean and provides great meals and is attractive and has a fun personality can still be a go getter even with that lifestyle.
It's all about attitude.
The working wives who focus entirely on career and the children and who neglect the husband and the home really make a man second guess what his role is and what is the whole point of the marriage.
It's a delicate line to balance on.

I’m not afraid of “successful” women, I’m just not into them. I make enough money that I don’t need someone going out 9-5 trying to help pay bills and coming home exhausted and stressed out, meanwhile we’re outsourcing the raising of our children to someone else. I was raised by a single mother who worked all the time and ran a major division of the state government. I didn’t want that for my children or myself.
I found an intelligent and gifted woman who is happy letting me go get the money while she takes care of me and the children. Yen and yang, not 2 people filling the same role. She’s grateful to have the life she wants where she can pursue her passions in her spare time and she shows her gratitude and vice versa.
