Not gonna lie, all the comments leading up to this like "my 2nd cousin saw the video and it's the most gruesome thing he's ever seen" is typical hyperbole. It's bad from a police perspective but not that gruesome, and the guy legit resisted the entire time.
i think it's a pretty bad look for the cops and they probably belong in jail but i agree with this

We gotta do a hell of a lot better job training officers in how to deal with physical altercations than this
We ain’t doing shite.
The police are and wrong and deserve the consequences that come, but at what point do we stop feeling bad for criminals and thugs who don’t follow the law or commands.
It’s insensitive to the weak, but I don’t care about anyone involved in the video. Sun will still rise tomorrow for me.

I think they were just pissed got pepper spray overspray
That one cop was clearly pissed he ate some of his own pepper spray. I wonder if he was the one repeatedly punching him while Tyre was standing up.

these cops are the shite bags that give the vast majority of good police a bad name. They deserve to spend the rest of their lives in jail.

Zero criminal history, coming home from working at fed x is all I know, so doubt any drugs

These guys sound like a group of illiterate gangbangers disguised in LE gear.
I’m a former Cop and if you can’t subdue a suspect when it’s 5 v 1 you are very poorly trained.

That was the worst of it.
Well yeah, probably why he died.
Like most of these cop killings that makethe news are justified, but this guy was beaten to death. Maybe people are desensitized to this for people to be saying “meh, not as bad as I thought it was going to be”

They whooped his arse that’s for sure. What he do to make them so pissed? Did he have a history with the cops?
Yeah if we find out there is some other context here that may help (it may not help the cops).
This board will make a big deal out of resisting, which may not match what we've heard, but the context for that matters too. Sorry, I'm not on board with the "you must cower and concede to being knocked around for petty (or no) crime or else face potential death by beating"

The punches were bad but this was definitely exaggerated. I was expecting more given how it was talked about

The guy weighs like 150 pounds. He was scared to death and his adrenaline was clearly going but WTF?

They also have rendered zero aid. Just left him sitting on the ground. Anybody who has worked in LEO can agree this is pathetic by these officers.

Meet y’all at bass pro we will set up a plan there
Or do we loot bass pro first? frick now I’m a little confused
That’s actually a really good idea. Bass pro is largely responsible. It only makes sense.
From bass pro, the most logical place to hit would be Jim’s firearms. Or Barnes & Noble? Y’all decide.
In any case, the order should have those three in a rotation for the next 48 hours just to be sure/safe. We can’t sit around and watch this kind of brutality take place from LE any longer.

I love the part of the video were the gather around coming up with there alibi "he grab Mark gun" "Yeah he sure did grab my gun" "Dude is on something " "Yeah he high as a kite " "Dude is so strong"

but you fricks need to stop acting like this was some innocent honor student who was targeted by these clown cops
I dont know who the guy was. I know that after watching all the footage, it looked like he stood no chance and the cops were trying to make the situation as bad as possible and frick him up badly. I am glad the cops are gone and wont ever serve again

And when we do, those 2nd degree charges are going to become 1st degree

I mean, the video isn’t graphic like some sort of cartel or ISIS video, but they literally beat the guy to death.

I’d like to see a tox screen of this guy because he’s halfway acting like he’s on something maybe

If we find out about some prior history or some other motive that'll certainly make things make more "sense" to the public. Probably after any rioting has occurred, of course.
