Carried out to 5 decimal places the odds are the same if you don’t buy a ticket or if you buy one... .00000.

Those odds are astronomical. Your money is better spent on a McDouble.

Did a quick pick for 25 years and the best I did was a 3+1 ticket for $200. Still was about $800 in the hole.

Who plays the exact same numbers for 25 years? Do your odds increase any by changing numbers every time?

-92% investment

ETA: ran the simulator up to $50 million.

Lost $46 million.

Won $4 million

-92%

won the $50,000 twice.

2 times out of 25 million tickets.

no $1M
no grand prizes

Yeah, but if I buy 20 tickets my chances are like 1 in 50.

I didn’t do the math - that’s just a rough estimate.

I wonder what the odds are of winning the jackpot in a simulation and real life.
