it will be closer to $95 million after taxes....37% marginal federal rate .... plus any state income taxes (in Louisiana 6%)
And I would use a 4% rate of return as opposed to a 6%. Still means $316,666 a month.

what are you doing with a half-million dollars every single month?

offer the LSU College of Engineering a contract of $200,000 per month for 100 months ($20MM total) for the naming rights to the College for the next 100 years. The Rouge College of Engineering would have a good ring to it.

Your six percent requires risk.

I'll be happy with 30 yr treasuries. For example, 30 yr is at 4.25% today.
I'd go down to the local fedbank on a Tuesday auction and low bid for a few weeks on various lengths.

My family would get trust funds.

I'd have places in Hawaii, Marin, NYC, way out on long island North fork.

Given the current situation I'd complete all necessary repairs at La Tech.

Millions a day? There aren’t many, top billionaires, maybe.

Yes it's a small handful of people, but it's just crazy to say 450k a month is so much you can't comprehend (which I agree with) when there exists those that generate more than that in several hours.

Amazon's share price rises by a cent and bezo's net worth increases by 8 figures

I would set up a business that offered startup companies loans for small equity percentages. There's nothing worse than having great ideas but no means to capital. My dream is to be in a position to offer young entrepreneurs a chance at creating something.

It's beautiful to say this. Reality, however, is not as pretty.

What is the number.... 80% of small businesses that fail?

You either need to have a great collections team, or be amazing at choosing who you lend to.

$3,000,000 custom home build in the middle of 100 acres so no neighbors

That sounds good and all and if you are smart with your money I guess you can pay people to keep it up, but let's say $1M goes towards the land.. So you would have a $2M going to the house. You can build a nice size house with $2M. Do you really want a house that is too big?

I thought that as well. That sounds like a quick way to lose money.

I’d sell my business and spend the rest of my life fundraising for St. Jude. Would never start or invest in another business venture. $300,000/ month income and a 90mm nest egg....why get involved in something that might lose you money? Maybe collect property but that would be the extent of my business dealings

I would buy a winery in Napa or Sonoma and open a BnB on property.

I would have homes/apartments in:
Preston Hollow or Highland Park
Upper East Side
Tuscany
New Orleans
San Francisco
Chicago

As well as a Falcon 7x to travel in between them.
