I win, I will be sure to have an attorney accept it. No way I'm putting my name out there.

I’d be worried the attorney would find a way to keep it through some loophole

I just went and bought one - i figure it would take more than a few bucks to move the odds more in my favor and it’s still a shot in the dark as it is

I probably overthink things, but I’ve read some real horror stories from lottery winners

Like the dude who won a $30 million lottery. Within a year, he blew all the money in giving hand outs to family and friends, buying stupid shite, and making bad financial decisions. He ended up in debt. Went to the basement of his ex-wife's house (he cheated on her right after he won and got divorced), got a pistol and boom! blew his brains out.

And the British teenager (Michael Carroll) who used to work at a waste management factory, won approx. 9,7 million pounds, and blew his money in drugs, parties, hookers, and giving thousands away to family. He ended up in jail and broke.

nobody would claim it for me. I would set up a corporation and if they had to take a pic with me and the winners we would all be wearing facemasks to try to stay as anonymous as possible.

It’s not thinking ONLY of the negative things. The positive things are really easy to think about. Considering the full implications of winning is what I was trying to do. Big difference between negative and realistic.

People were straight up saying “your life is fricked”. There’s no way to spin that that’s not only being negative.

Ditto this. I'm wearing clothing attire for a school I never went to, glasses, changing hair color, and wearing a mask for that picture. Gotta throw the scent off from anyone realizing it's you.

What college attire would everyone wear to throw everyone for a loop?

Winning that amount of money sounds great, but it creates a ton of negative life factors. When I think about those, my current life situation seems really good.

It doesn’t create a ton of negative life factors unless you’re already living a shitty life, which is probably why you’re buying lotto tickets religiously

You could be a normal non-shitty person and win and people will come after you.

Get an attorney and high end accountant on deck before you cash in ticket.

Get 5 high end wealth managers on deck to diversify your team.

Get a big bank (not local) for your fun money.

As much as this sounds like sound advice, but attorneys, money managers, and bank fees don't pay themselves. They will eat off any profit you think you are going to gain. And will look for ways to screw you at any move.

Best way is to stay small and humble. Invest in your local community such as donating money for a park or other worthwhile ventures to improve the community.

Also, when you deposit your funds at a local bank or multiple banks remember once you have 100 million dollars sitting there, you essentially own them as it will affect their balance sheet if you move your money out of there. Also, you may need to structure and have multiple accounts so that you can maximize your FDIC insurance in case the bank goes broke.

I see almost no way one person could piss away 750 million.

Well it truly wouldn't be that hard if not set up correctly.. 1st you're paying taxes on that 750 so you're down to half a bill.. boo hoo I know.. then you start buying stupid shite like yachts , jets and other pricey things it can get away from you quickly if you don't set up and income stream from the winnings..

Personally I bet I could burn through 100 million in less than a month

How much are you keeping in a checking/savings account.

Get a real private wealth manager from an institution that specializes in high net worth individuals, not some local bank

They will be 1000x better at recommending tax advantageous strategies and setting up trusts and the like to manage what you gift to families or charities.
