I probably don't align with her reasons, but I agree with her actions.

Well, which is it?
Community organizer or M & A sharpener?
I personally can't see a junior partner coming out to the world as crazy, but WTHK?

It appears that she’s both.

She quit that firm as a 3rd year associate about a year ago, she graduate law school in 2022 and never made the amount of money you implied. Like I said none of it is true. I’m surprised you don’t have better research skills after 30 years, it was the second link after I googled her name that provided me this info. Keep in mind I’m a Network Engineer for a public institution for 29 years, lol.

Yep. It appears that she was a Finance (not M&A) Associate (not Partner) at Skadden.

The exclamation point really brings in the gentleness and competency.

I’m available to do research for any super smart lawyers here, I’ll need some part time work when I cash in and start drawing the pension soon. Not sure what the going rate is but I’m OT cheap at around 70/hr.

Apparently, she now works at Lowell & Associates, which was founded by Abbe Lowell, who is a high profile defense attorney.
She’s listed as that firm’s External & Strategic Affairs Coordinator.

She seems to have a made a career pivot, good bit of media coverage for her after pitching a fit about something to do with Trump and her former firm. FWIW, I like her flapjacks.

Some people go years without paying their taxes.
I knew a guy here years ago who was a great house painter...Stayed booked, when he was sober. This was back in the days the IRS sent out the tax books and return forms in the mail every year. He'd take the form and write, This Tax Payer is Deceased across the form and mail it back...As far as I know he was never caught ....He doesn't have to worry now, he actually been deceased for over 15 years.

You are correct, when I looked her up, even though I copied and pasted her name, it "corrected to" Rachel Cohn, who is a partner @ Skaden in Chicago.
If she was 3y associate at Skaden she would have made about $330k that year.

Sold long held stock options, the broker withheld 20% my intent to settle up at tax time if any with the IRS. But he forgot to file a 1099. Oops.
Fast forward 3 years the IRS (after an estimated tax payment made on time) sent me a bill for $200k for penalties and interest, my ace tax attorney later getting no sympathy from them. Finally got the broker off his arse to help.
The first IRS letter arrives, others follow their computer is relentless, face to face meetings held with them, you are going to pay the tax. Cost me $20k to fix the brokers mistake, which after protesting for reimbursement from his firm somehow turned out to be my fault.
Freezing my bank account and putting a lien on my home was an eye opening experience. Ruthless.
Bless your little heart, Ms Competent Attorney.
