There food is awful
Maybe he should focus on fixing that now
I wonder if the data driven CEO has a KPI showing how many tons of undercooked rice they serve

I think his primary tool for success is charging 24.95 for general sao chicken. I’ll stick with panda for fatty sugary meat. It’s all unhealthy anyway.

Ah, the "we don't cater to families with children" strategy.

Well the dude is pretty accomplished for his age:
BS in Econ from Harvard
Worked at Goldman
Harvard MBA
Partner at Paulson and Co
Part-owner of P.F Changs, now CEO
When I saw the OP’s clip, I first thought …Oh, another “data driven” IB/PE kid running a company, meh.
I have no idea if he can run a company like PF Changs but sounds like he’s pretty capable.
So he has some prestigious degrees and held prestigious positions. I don't understand what that has to do with anything?
Im sure he's a very smart cat, but if all he did was make PF Changs more accessible via mobile apps like pretty much every restaurant then I have a hard time being impressed. He's definitely a very accomplished dude but I'm not seeing the "genius" of the strategy.

I love PF Changs, but is he responsible for them jacking up their prices over past few years?
Im sure thats more related to inflation than just simply raising prices, although maybe there was some of that as well.

The pepper steak used to be enough for two meals, now it barely has enough meat to make it one. It’s also expensive as shite for basic Chinese food.
