Only 56% and 58%? Goes to show you how stupid the American public really us. Those numbers, you would think, would be in the 80% range.

I’d bet a large number in this group of people are the elderly who grew up in a world with limited news options. They’re not stupid but grew up in a totally different time.

What do you idiots expect when Fox News claimed the election was stolen over 800 times before the Capitol Riot occurred?

This the same Fox News people stopped watching because they refused to call the election stolen?

It's at 0 in my house.

56% of Americans agree with the statement that "Journalists and reporters are purposely trying to mislead people by saying things they know are false or gross exaggerations."

THat seems low to me.

Because reporters have ceased to exist.

you disingenuous sack of shite.

What about the 3 years, millions of tax payer dollars investigating, and daily, even hourly reports from the garbage media regarding “Russia Russia Russia”.

Remember? Trump was a Russian plant? Him and Putin were besties? Conveniently forgot about that ehh?

You really would jerk trump off.

Did you really watch the news that much to know that is what they reported on all the time?

A lot of that smoke, Trump brought on himself. And if you want to talk about spreading bullshite news. Trump did it on a daily basis on twitter.

And if you really think that everything he tweeted was the truth then there is no point to even have this conversation with you.

He lives life like its a reality TV show. I know you don't want to think that about your hero, but he was not good for this country.

Why does this surprise you? Look at the poster above you. This country is full of complete emotional morons like him.

When Edelman re-polled Americans after the election, the figures had deteriorated even further, with 57% of Democrats trusting the media and only 18% of Republicans.

Could that mean that 18% of Republicans don't read carefully or listen with 100% attention?

there’s the cripple retorting with the same copy and paste bullshite he spews anytime anyone gets under his skin.

Jerk off Trump? You’re just fricking weird Chris.

It was 24/7 for 3 fricking years you dipshit. To deny that is a bold face lie.

Yeah, he said a lot of unnecessary dumb shite on Twitter. Hot take Chris. But no President ever has been raked over the coals from the get to like him. The difference between how they are treating Biden and how they treated Trump is day and night. There’s a article all over the internet about Joe’s love of ice cream and how it melts the media’s heart. Meanwhile the media wrote hit pieces on Trump’s wife and children

But you’re a disingenuous piece of shite, so you won’t admit that.

Ahh, the I don’t have a good retort and I’m getting frustrated because everyone hates me white flag post. Cheers

Ahh, the I don’t agree with Oweo’s shite takes and call him out on his bullshite, thus Trump is my hero / idol / God. We’ve come full circle folks. This is Oweo wrapped up in one post.

Next is the victim post on the Help Board or an RA for me bullying him. Pathetic.

Get off social media and I stopped watching CNN and FOX News those 24 hour news shows altogether.

CBS evening news is not much better and I'm about to pull the plug on them as well.

I may just check the weather only from now on in case a hurricane is headed my way!

To be fair, we have a lot of editorials, and not a lot of news.
This is a huge issue. Most of what is presented as "news" is 5% fact, 95% opinion.

mainstream media absolutely curates their content to drive a narrative. Simple example: media mostly used pictures of W & Trump that showed them in the most unflattering way possible. Every picture of Obama made him look like a damned Dillards ad model.
More egregious example. The media chooses to focus on the police vs citizen deaths (George Floyd, etc...), which make up a miniscule percentage of overall "murders" in this country, in order to drive a narrative. They could easily focus on black crime with white victims, if they wanted to push that narrative. Or, crimes committed by illegal immigrants, if they wanted to push that narrative. It's scary that they get to choose what the current "issue" is for the country, and people will blindly follow along with them.
