I’m in need of some a/c stuff, too. What did you have done and how much did it set you back, if you don’t mind sharing…

Neil's Automotive on Pecue Ln. He is really good with motor repairs. You prob have a rear main seal leak which means they will have to remove the transmission to get to the rear seal, and Neil is really reliable, check him out.

Jason @ Express Care on Sherwood close to Seigen. Our company has used him for years. Honest and does great work.

Agco Automotive. Best people. Just don't roll up in a lifted heavily modified ride. They will tell you to go elsewhere.
This is true. They are nice about it though. After telling me they don’t work on modified vehicles the owner still talked with me about my issues for 30 min and gave me a couple of likely causes.

Generally mechanics dislike working on stuff modified from factory. A way to think about it is that with a factory vehicle, you have gained experience and something of a roadmap with service data. Once you go in there modifying something, you create a whole new roadmap that the tech is not familiar with.
Mechanic shops make money by fixing stuff ASAP. Not spending 4 hrs tracking down some Scotchlok from a remote start kit that has corroded from getting wet and is causing an issue with some unrelated computer.

I have same issue with and Acura MDX. I have gone to K&M and have been pleased..I would recommend them. However, I called and they don't do this work since it involves removing transmission.

K&M is the best. Never had an issue.

Just following up on this. I used K&M according to a few of your suggestions. They did a great job. I would recommend.
