Um credit card statements. Enough said

All of my business and personal credit cards code all my expenses automatically

In makes it easier on all of us

However I do keep a lot of my receipts for no reason at all, just out of habit

What I hate is having to remember the pump number and what the total was because 99/100 the idiot behind the register doesn’t know how to print the last transaction at a particular pump. They find it by the amount that I have to tell them before they can find it.

why do they need receipts in the fuel card. They get every transaction already.

Dont they get an electric statement that tied to your gas/credit card?

was at his house one day and he broke out some of the stuff he sells and I remember him telling me a single screw was in the neighborhood of $500 like the ones used to hold that ankle together.

The methheads hear of this and they’ll start chopping off arms and legs to get to the hardware.

Yes they do.

It's clear those questioning this have never worked with under qualified "boss bitch" DEI hires in their home office that have never once stepped foot in the field. I once got questioned because I had to switch pumps due to the one I was using stalling out and malfunctioning, and threatened to be fired by one of these office pencil pusher Shaniquas if I didn't provide the hard receipts.

It happens all the time when you have a certain segment doing nothing but sitting in an office far away looking for things to "catch" you on.

Your surgeon did a great job though.

He was also a resident when I had a club foot correction in 1985. He’s was present for that surgery.

He’s been around.

Ti is paramagnetic

Obtuse I am 99.9% in agreement with you but this is the .1 %

Titanium is a diamagnetic material since the domains cannot be aligned through the induction of a magnetic field. No domain alignment, no magnetic field.

Once upon a time I had to do a special inspection on an SR-71 for a one time flight back to the Skunk Works from it’s detachment base in England. Spent two days NDT-ing two titanium bolts that were @ $45K apiece. MPI was the only test I could not perform on them due to their metallurgical properties (i.e. titanium)

Bird flew back to Cali and was actually put back into service a few years after retirement. Now sits in a museum in Oregon. Pilot that flew it back has a section in the Smithsonian and even mentions that flight back as his most troubling in his career due to the possibility of structural failure.

Lucky for me there is a full service station near the house. I can’t believe people would stop at another station.

Are those metal screws? Look like metal, possibly wood on the top?

I truly appreciate an akshually guy!

I admit I did not anticipate the thread evolving to include paired electrons, valence levels, and alloying chemistry. It is true Ti, depending on the alloy and impurity level, can exhibit either paramagnetism, diamagnetism, or even ferromagnetism (if the impurities of cobalt, nickel or iron are high enough).

I also enjoyed your anecdote. The cumulative life experience of TD is fascinating.

I don’t think I have ever not gotten a receipt from Buccees or HEB. Every where else it’s a crap shoot.

The Circle K I go to never has paper. If you go inside, they’ve got one guy working and the rest is self checkout. The dude never looks at anyone because he doesn’t want to do shite. Literally saw a lady throw a penny at him because she wanted cigarettes and he wouldn’t look up when she said “Excuse me” three times.
So, I just take pics of the digital display and turn those in to the bookkeeper. If we get audited (idk how that shite works) and I have to pay it back, I’ll just burn the gas station down.

That looks exactly like my x-ray. Talonavicular joint fusion with an added fusion to the subtalus/calcaneus joint?

Don’t let anyone do an MRI on you…..you’ll get tied in a knot!

Not a problem. MRIs work with MAGNETIC fields. All of this hardware is Titanium. Titanium is non-ferrous so is not magnetic and is not affected by magnetic fields.
