Anyone have any experience with them? My mom has AML and not a good prognosis and we want a second opinion. I've read great things about them and was wondering if anyone here knew first hand. TIA.

World class hospital. Patients from all over the country and the world travel there for treatment. That should tell you all you need to know.

I worked there for 5 years doing clinical research and would never let a family member or friend go anywhere else (ability to pay not withstanding). It's a fantastic facility.

As a Houston resident, I've never heard anything other than glowing reviews. It's nationally renown.

Good luck to your mom

Good friend of mines wife had cancer and she beat it in that hospital. He has nothing but high remarks for that place. Top notch for sure.

My father got cancer treatment there last year. The facilities and staff are awesome. I would definitely recommend them.

Traveled there from Alabama when my ex-wife was diagnosed. Amazing people, facilities...everything. Given the circumstances...couldn't have asked for a better experience.

My mom was treated at MD Anderson in 2001. One of the best in the country. She had a strand that was too advanced but they were able to keep her comfortable until the end.
