Except for the whole defending your house/portions of car issue, hence the Castle Doctrine.
If someone is attempting to drag you out of your car, you have no idea what weapons they have or don't have. For all the driver could have known, Joe was carrying too.

I get why we are still talking about the case (former NFL player and local high school legend), but this is done.
The witness fricked everything up by lying and trying to start shite or get their 15 minutes of fame. Whatever.
People were clearly jumping to conclusions early yesterday when this happened and now it looks like McKnight may have been the aggressor. Giving the other guy every right to defend himself.
This is nothing like what Cardell Hayes did to Will Smith.
Pray for Joe's family and everyone else involved.
