If you are in JP you likely have nothing to worry about. Normand said very openly that he isn't putting up with it.

Dude joe got out first and confronted the guy at his car window,I pack heat myself as I transfer large amounts of cash for work. If you get out of your car and come at me you're dying I promise you that much. Gasser was threatened and won the battle yesterday, the end. Teach your kids to stay in their car and keep driving and this won't happen

That's where you'd be wrong. Joe was leaning in the window and the knuckle injury makes me think that they were struggling over the gun. So calm down on the name calling.

Link to the moment in the press conference when they said Joe was leaning through any window of the car?

I watched the whole thing. Shot in his finger, shot in his upper chest with the bullet lodged in his lower back, and shot in the middle of his chest with the bullet exiting near his kidney. We also understand that bullets do crazy things, particularly around the chest cavity. Joe's body was also lying behind the vehicle.

If you want to assume he was leaning through the window and whatnot, go right ahead, but they said nothing of the sort.

Is that Audi SUV Gasser's?

If so, he obviously has some assets and he should move out of metro NO with the swiftness

Ok so joe McKnight was basically shot inside gassers car which makes me right on it being self defense from 20 pages ago and you bleeding heart liberals fought me all along the way. Joe McKnight was not as innocent as you made him out to be he got the car and when you mess with the bull you get the horns. I told you the cops let him go for a reason and you guys still fought like the keyboard lawyers that you are. Gasser is free and joe is dead, nobody is a winner in the end but nobody found wrong in what gasser did

This is why no one will take you seriously. Neither of them were in the right. They were both acting like idiots for a pretty good while. From the CCC to where Joe was shot is a pretty good ways and they would've had to go through a bunch of red lights. We'll never really know who started it though because the other story is dead.

No one said that

unless someone runs gasser's vehicle through a carwash, ballsitics and blood spray pattern on (and in) the vehicle will end this with the quickness and shut all the apologists the hell up.

In the picture, has anyone seen blood on Gasser's car?

What's with all the downvotes on my post bout Obama / Lynch? The Feds would have definitely gotten involved if Obama had more than 50 days left

Yikes. The internet feed dropped out, and I listened again. I retract my earlier statement.

I won't edit. Man enough to admit when I'm wrong.

Carry on.

So after that, do we still think Gasser shouldn't have been released?

I certainly don't think the evidence proves he acted in self defense convincingly, but I believe it certainly disproves a lot of the shite people were assuming previously. It's pretty clear they don't think they can disprove his self defense claim with what they have now.

It doesn't necessarily prove that he was inside the car. He could have been leaning down yelling at the guy since it was small car.

If McKnight was trying to get into the car, it doesn't matter at all if he could have driven away. You realize this, don't you?

I think it matters. I don't think his life was in "imminent danger" and you DO have a duty to retreat.

Here read this

quote:

What it boils down do is this: Do you genuinely believe you are in mortal danger and is using a gun the only means of ending the threat? Assuming you don't initiate the conflict, you don't have a duty to retreat, and you honestly believe you are in grave danger, your use of a firearm may be justified.

You can legally defend yourself with a gun if the situation includes these 3 elements
