Ok so then Gasser should be held personally accountable for the murder no matter what because Gasser got out the car too and if he didnt then McKnight wouldn't have gotten shot? Or does personal accountability only apply to McKnight?

NAACP showing its extreme ignorance yet again. Who's civil rights are being violated here?

This about as weird as the Will Smith shooting. More to that story as well.

What would you all think if JPSO reported no shots were fired from outside of the shooter's vehicle?

Like if Mcknight was hanging in the passenger window of Gasser's car?

A caller to WWL made an interesting point. Does Gasser even get out of his car if he doesn't have a gun?

Unlikely. I tried making a similar point in a gun thread not too long ago and got blasted for it. Having a weapon undoubtedly makes you more likely to escalate a situation you otherwise would leave alone.

Again most people are arguing Dab's argument that he had a right to shoot McKnight for just getting out of his vehicle. I don't think you'll find anyone defending McKnight if he pulled Gasser out of the car or tried to.

There is conflicting reports. One says JM was apologizing and was shot. The other stated a physical altercation happened, and JM was shot. No one knows what actually happened.

Were street cameras or local store cameras operative that have been reported to be used to validate witness testimony?

This would completely conflict with one of the witnesses statements (from the guy who was in his car behind them) that they were both arguing outside of their cars before he heard shots.

The Shell station if back a ways from the street and Mcknight's SUV was in the way. The other business is car way about 200yds away. If they caught anything it will likely be useless unless they have some serious equipment.

It doesn't necessarily change anything unless McKnight entered his vehicle or attempted to enter it. If McKnight got out arguing with him and made his way to the drive window where he was then shot, that is not justifiable.

If they're already referring this to the DA, it's likely a weak case with conflicting info and they want to throw this in front of a grand jury quickly.

If anyone of any color gets out of car and you feel threatened, you can legally shoot them. This is what the law says, period! That's fact 1
Fact 2 is not one of the Matlock wannabes on here know the full story so disregard every single thing on here! Learn from the past!

I would think that it doesn't agree with the witness statements that have come out.

Gasser should have drove away but nobody knows what McKnight said maybe he felt like McKnight was gonna follow him wherever and beat him down. We will never know the truth but cops clearly agreed with him in the face of protests galore that they surely want to avoid
