“Providing a restaurant experience that our customers expect is among our top priorities,” a McDonald’s spokesperson said in a statement to Business Insider. “McDonald’s Corporation and its franchisees are constantly working together on improving and enhancing the restaurant experience so that customers can enjoy McDonald’s food where and when they want it.”

It’s not the machines it’s the workers. I went to McDonalds one time and ordered ice cream, I pull around to see the worker making it and the manager lady came in screaming “Ice cream machine broke!” So yeah I think the machines will remain broken.

Has McDonald’s ever done the research to see why the frequency of broken ice cream machines is so much higher in places like Alabama instead of places like Iowa?

I don't know why you wouldn't include the actual relevant part of the article:
quote:
CHICAGO — The ice cream machines at McDonald’s that are notorious for breaking down are reportedly getting a device to help keep them up and running.
Business Insider said some franchisees are teaming up with a software company Kytch to make the equipment. It’s expected to detect and correct minor malfunctions within the machines. It will also let the employees know what’s wrong with detailed information about the specific issue.
The device, which was introduced in May 2019, would attach to the current machines, according to Business Insider. The outlet reported that some fast-food locations have already implemented the device.

LoL at people who actually believe the machine is broken. The minimum wage warriors are just to lazy to clean it and fill it back up with milk

Maybe they should copy whatever it is keeping Chick Fil A machines running?

The machines are a bitch to clean. That’s the issue. They just say they’re broken when they’re actually clean.

Those are devices are called responsible managers, which are hard to find working the McDonald’s closing shifts.

There are 3 ingredients in a Mickey D’s shake:
Reduced fat ice cream
Shake syrup
Whipped light cream.

Tell them to fix the iced latte machine while they're at it. That's down every time I go too.

They already have this technology in Eastern Europe and Southeast Asia.

That will be very helpful to the rocket surgeons working there.

Why any grown adult goes to McDonald’s is beyond me. Chick-fil-a and canes are where the customer service is at.

They’re gonna install workers that aren’t lazy and don’t shut the machine down because they don’t want to clean it again?
