Satellite antenna FYI: Maxwell radar (KMXX) is down. Techs have been notified. Restoration time is unknown.

If one Alabama radar site had to be down, that’s the one I would pick. The KBMX, KEOX, and KFFC radars can cover the area of that radar decently.

It is just weird that they tweet that today when it was down yesterday on RadarScope.

I almost think Jackson kept/extended that Tornado Warning because the radar was such a mess. And, the wind was a threat regardless as it moved in. Warning was canceled.
