besides the fact we have no evidence to support what 1 mug equals?
Hint; it's a 1 oz. mug, the burger is 5 ozs. and the bottle is 10 ozs.
Or it's small burgers and miniature mugs!

That's easy. The only thing that threw me off at first was not noticing that the last line had a multiplication symbol. Oddly enough I caught the mugs.

Yeah people getting 25 arent necessarily dumb, just got tricked with the double mug.
Now anything other than 15 or 25, then you probably didn't pay attention in math class.

I'm depressed with you. I just sent this to all my coworkers and no one could figure it out

Or, according to the math elites getting "unsolvable" as an answer, you paid too much attention in math class.

I didn't read all 18 pages but did anyone point out to the people arguing that the two mugs are the same can no way prove that since one is in front of the other.
Yes, from my other post:
actually I just went back and looked at the picture:
in the 3rd line you see 2 beer mugs, but you must make the assumption that the beer mug behind the first beer mug looks exactly like the beer mug in the front.
You actually only see 2/3 of the back beer mug
So now the equation, if LNCHBOX wants his argument, should be:
if z = beer mugs
5 + (z+(0.66 * z)) + (z + (0.66 * z)) = 9
(z + (0.66 * z)) + (z + (0.66 * z)) = 4
(z + 0.66z) + (z + 0.66z) = 4
1.66z + 1.66z = 4
3.32z = 4
z = 1.204819
P.S: I used this thread as a way to go over my algebra skills again... dust them off a bit before I jump into a technical field in a few months

At irst glance it looks like 50 cent draft specials

Me:
(5+1) x 10 = 60
or
5 + (1x10) = 15
So what's the answer other than these two wrong ones? lol

I love that you feel the need to repost your little nonsense again. Did you not get enough attention the first go round?

So if the mugs were next to each other instead of stacked, what would your answer be?
What if you had these items in front of you, not in a picture, and after you reached the conclusion the 2 mugs of beer = 2, you watched as one of the beer mugs was removed for the purposes of the last equation?
