Five people now confirmed dead. By the way, this is all going down about a mile from me. I'm going to warn you before you watch this video. You won't see the person(s) actually die but you know they do. This video will make you hurt for these people.

Bad...FJ Cruiser gets destroyed (they're dead...no doubt)....pickup truck goes flying

The Weather Channel has been giving pretty steady coverage of it with alot of overhead video. Unreal scene.

All I could think about was being in that white truck with my kids in the backseat just knowing you’re about to get plowed into.

The look and sound of this event is like watching 911 for some reason. People jumping from the towers. Very unsettling.

I'm just a few minutes from there too, ice storms(assuming that this was caused by icy roads,) are the worst weather event that the DFW metroplex experiences, usually creates more havoc than a tornado

This is pretty much my worst nightmare anytime I'm suck in non moving traffic on an interstate. Hopefully it was quick at least.

WFAA has live muted in the air video live on youtube... almost surreal to watch and see the devastation.

I see three Humvees at the scene. Are they helping or were they on the road when this happened?

Unreal. We've seen these vids from places like Wisconsin but never here. Really is awful

Just awful

On one hand I'm sorry I watched

On the other, it's probably good to reinforce why driving busy interstates overnight or in bad weather (especially in the South) should be avoided at all costs.

There were a couple of flatbed semis carrying national guard vehicles involved. Maybe those have been moved off of the flatbed.

that's the thing, DFW area drivers in general, are not that great and are fairly aggressive, it always seems to me that they sort of up that part of their game in bad weather driving conditions
