8.6 million affected. Nearly 6,000 square miles of crops damage. Does this cause any worries abroad?

Their land has been getting drenched the whole while they were out posturing over the summer.

Higher rice prices should help a lot of your local economies down in Arkansas, South LA, and Mississippi delta

There's a joke here about the sun coming out. And glare. And a missing need for sunglasses.

Me Chinese, me play joke,
Me put pee-pee...
Oh, wait, no pee-pee.
Much rice gone.
Many children starve.

So will this raise or lower Chinese crawfish prices?

Wait.....the article's slideshow has hot weather girls and other non-flood related ad pics in between disaster photos. WTF. More of those pics versus flood pics. A big C'MON MAN!

Will drown all crawfish. Prices to skyrocket next spring.

Raises crop prices for American farmers, sounds like a win to me.

There are something like 400 million acres of rice planted each year. Even if this was all rice crop and planted that would still be less than 1% for some perspective

Why's it gotta be rice, man?
