If you believe in multiple gunmen, then they did escape guns a blazing. They probably had a second location pre-determined, and thought to maybe get to the car full of tannerite, but couldn't make it and escaped into the choas.

Why release those photos and then nothing whatsoever anywhere else?
They haven't released a single bit of footage of him doing anything.
I get the investigation is ongoing but keeping everything so buttoned up and not the crime scene is bizarre.

Based on the 60 mins report in which the first 4 police to make it into the room were interviewed, there was nothing said in reference to him planning on getting away with weapons.
They insinuated that he likely underestimated the time police would arrive to the room. And that they think that it is possible his escape plan was to get out and sort of blend in with all of the commotion going on.
I am not sure what he actually anticipated, but I am pretty sure he planned to kill more people than he did.

I'm just finding out it's possible that he fired 200 rounds through the door at the security guard a full 6 minutes before the shooting out the windows. Is that confirmed?
