Well, now I can add another looney theory to what I've seen today. Well, maybe not a theory, but same ole boy that was posting the Rio Gios crap also shared one where CNN supposedly cut a woman short because she was talking about there being multiple shooters.

Not only did they not cut her off after she started talking about multiple shooters, but they went back to her until she started talking about people getting headshot.

Frickin tinfoil hats are coming out of the woodworks.

Does anyone at this point believe that he might have had someone else in the room and they bounced before the cops arrived?

At some level that's the hardest outcome to prove and present. You have to thoroughly eliminate a huge volume of other stuff. If he were isis or on crazy militia websites it's easy to throw out there. To say he's just an angry old dude is hard to say at a press conference in the first day or two.

in 2017?

hardly.

they have access to cell phone records, computer records, etc

if the dude acted alone, thats an easy case to wrap up

One thing I'm surprised we haven't heard is stories from any guests who were on floor 32 at the time of the shooting

They interviewed a guy a few doors down that said SWAT knocked on his door and after they searched his room they told him to run to the exit they were clearing the floor.

And why would they have to breach it if he fired 200 rounds through it?

I mean, that probably shut the door, but it would have also turned it into a sieve.

Interesting footnote was that the hotel room door was ajar when the security guard arrived, and that keyed him in on that room. Weird stuff

Purely speculation here, but coupled with the implication he had a plan to escape, perhaps he thought it was going to be on the run and opening a door is something he couldn't spare.

It also could have been due to the cable running into the room from the camera played outside. If the door fit snugly to the carpet, it makes sense he'd need to run the video cable through in another manner.

Clearly my point was if he walks out the door 2 minutes before police show up its real hard to stop him getting to the ground floo

Like I said before, that is a stupid escape plan. #1, it took one security guard to stop him. #2, within 10 minutes there were cops in the hotel locking down the elevators, exits, etc.

the sheriff says, "do you think this was all accomplished on his own....?...face value? you gotta make the assumption that he had some help at some point"

This is a dumb statement because he either knows or doesnt, and they should know by reviewing hotel security.

Lets not forget this is Vegas there are Cameras everywhere. They should be able to track most of his actions around the strip and more specifically wherever his vehicle was parked throughout the week.

He didn’t say how far it was open, but obviously enough for the security guard to notice

there are leads which suggest otherwise which is why the case is still open

Sheriff said they could see at least one gun through the holes in the door.

I'm not sure if they breached it with explosives or just a SWAT team kicking it in. I can't recall what's been said.

Read your own article. A few dozen members of ISIS, who called in people from the Middle East, and who have now pretty much been destroyed - in one of the only predominantly Muslim towns in the entire country. That's peanuts compared to what you people have been trying to make it. By reading some of the posts, you'd think the Philippines was Pakistan or Syria

You're wrong yet again.

If you actually read the whole article it states that over 100 ISIS fighters killed and 500 wounded!

So, the USAF is conducting sorties for TWO DOZEN ISIS fighters?

I think it's possible. The door being ajar for a guy who had been that meticulous sounds really odd.

Maybe there were other(s), they left to secure an escape route but passed the security guard and instead acted like scared guests.

When Paddock saw the security guard, he thought his friends were toast and escape was no longer possible.

Just spitballing a POSSIBILITY based on crazy talk. Not a conspiracy theorist. Just talking it out.

rocket, think about this. You have to prove no one helped him. That takes as much time, or more, than proving someone DID help him.

How many rooms did SWAT clear before the shooters room? Is that why it took them awhile?

I don’t think it can proved or disproved that he had help at this point. It was odd that the sheriff/FBI said numerous times that they weren’t going to speculate...then the sheriff speculated that he had to have had help unless he was superman.

I like it. Let's go with that.
