There’s a middle ground between casually interested and obsessed, just saying.
There is... and as you go up the spectrum you might start wanting to think about life. If you are here jibber jabbering a little- no big deal. If you are actually upset about not knowing more yet- start thinking about what's actually going on with you.

Is anyone else's FB feed loaded with tinfoil? I logged on for the first time today and I got a bit overwhelmed.
Nope, definitely not. I have one guy who keeps sharing some Gio Rios (which sounds like a fake arse name to me, but whatever) guy's posts about multiple shooters, and one using an LMG.
Another one posting an image of the shooter with text questioning how he was able to get 400 lbs of guns and ammo up to the room by himself, disable fire alarms and other security measures, and how he managed to remove the 800 lbs of HURRICANE PROOF GLASS windows with no training and no motive. First of all...LMAO at Hurricane proof windows in Las Vegas. Seriously?! WTF people?
Not to mention the damn windows were not removed, at least not the way I see it. Those windows look blown out, or shot out.
Same guy also shared the video from the cab drive that is supposedly proof that a second shooter was there based on the proximity to the gun shots.
I had no idea these people even bought into this kind of crap.

anyone have theories as to why theyre staying quiet?
They're staying "quiet" because they're still investigating. The information they release can jeopardize their investigation because it often creates confirmation bias.
The interviews from his neighbors were a great example. People recall things about him that fit their preconceived notion of him now that he's a mass murderer.
Also, you don't want to release too many things if they can be used to catch someone else in a lie.

All after responding to the general area, identifying where the shooter was, establishing cover with your long gun (which is not your primary weapon) all within 11 minutes.
This one fact makes any other idea about returning fire a moot point, there was not enough time for any type of return fire response.

per the sheriff:
-Paddock spent decades acquiring weapons (weapon types not specified)
-Still evaluating crime scene, will take up to 5 days
-Paddock lived a secret life, most of which we will probably never know the details of (starting to think there is no clear motive)
-Still more interviews to conduct regarding Paddock
-10:05 first shots fired by Paddock
-10:12 first two officers arrived on the 31st floor and said gunfire is coming from directly above them
-10:15 last shots fired per body cam
10:17 first two officers arrive on 32nd floor
10:18 security guard tells cops he was shot and gives exact location
10:26-10:30 - 8 more officers arrive on 32nd floor. clear rooms
11:20 - first breach, Paddock was down on the ground (dead)
11:27 - second breach. No other people seen in the room

I tuned in late. What was that about "the Ogden" and "third party renting through Air bnb"?
Posted on 10/4/17 at 7:14 pm to Gnar Cat21
Could this have been some sort of ISIS initiation ?

I know some cops that do competitive shooting, and the furthest they do is 100 yards with a pistol. They can ring 2" steel all day long at 300 with an AR.
That being said, no normal cop would be taking those shots. That would be a SWAT sniper with clearance to shoot at an occupied hotel. That permission comes from much higher up, so it wouldn't have done any good in this situation

I was a little late too, but I think he was confirming that Paddock had booked, or tried to book, a room there for another festival that was going on several days before this concert

None of the cameras were actually recording in or outside of the room.

None of the cameras in the room or right outside the room were recording.
Did I hear that right?
ETA: guess I did. Well, that will fuel the tin foil hats some more.

My Facebook is a cesspool of extremist retardation on the left and right. My dad is a retired army Col. so all of that side are real conservative.
But I live in Palm Beach County which is overwhelmingly liberal so all my local friends are completely unhinged and want to round up all the guns and melt them so they can build Kaepernick statues.
It's annoying AF, but there haven't been too many tinfoil hats

Paddock had 1500 rounds of ammunition in his car in the parking lot of the Mandalay Bay. Explosives as well. Ammonium nitrate, tannerite (sp?), etc.
Posted on 10/4/17 at 7:18 pm to Gnar Cat21
His vehicle, located at Mandalay Bay, contained ammonium nitrite. also, a bunch of containers of tannerite and 1600 rounds of ammo

Means they were just for monitoring, not actually storing the images
