The Philippines are more than 90% Christian. They have a very small Muslim population, and the presence of ISIS is minuscule, and that might be an overstatement.

Well, if this theory were true, that small percentage would have been working to find some sucker like this for years.

Uhhh, he's gonna need just a little more detail than that

That piece of shite wouldn't be happy because the guy filming didn't stick his finger in the hole when he came upon the poor SOB in agonal breathing with a gunshot wound through his head.

IT'S ALL A CONSPIRACY!

Reports are saying he had a camera set up in the room and recorded the entire act.

He also apparently used to stay here until 3 years ago when he got in a disagreement about a room he wanted that was unavailable and hasn't stayed here since. Trying to find out who he argued with in VIP.

I swear to god if this psycho killed 59 people over a fricking disagreement...

Just no words.

I fully understand that concept. You don't seem to understand the difference in risk mitigation and prevention. You mitigate risk as soon as you step out of bed in the morning and decide to go about your day. It's sensible, you understand there are risks to going on about your day, but you make conscious decisions to limit your risk.

As for travel ban, the wall seems as a waste of money IMO for many reasons, and I'm perfectly fine with folks from Islamic radicalized countries being limited in their ability to enter the US.

I'm not debating these things in this thread though, and this actually is my last post that is unrelated to Vegas.

Like I said, I just don’t understand the need to film it.
Agree on that.

I'm sure people aren't thinking exactly straight given the circumstances. So I'm not even going to try to figure out his motive behind pulling out his camera.

Finding out a little more info...apparently security has located Paddock on camera at our property as recently as Saturday so it wasn't like he was holed up in his room all weekend planning.

Thanks for sharing. Keep us posted on stuff like this

This is wrong

No, it's not. Here's an article from September 1st describing their presence. Started as about 600 people, and has now been pinned down to an area of a few blocks.

And again, the country as a whole is more than 90% Christian. To say that they're an "ISIS hotbed" is erroneous at best, and downright disingenuous at worst.

Honestly, the guy could've done worse damage driving a big truck through the crowd

Or flying one of his planes into a crowd. I was thinking about this as soon as they said he had pilot license and two planes

Again, serious question, what about the bump stock is protected in the right to bear arms?

I think it's pretty clear the second amendment has limitations already in this country. Fully automatic weapons are a good example.

I'd keep the inside info to a minimum if you work there. You're a good dude and wouldn't want you to lose your job.

Since when?

Since Abu Sayef. Those dudes have been bad news for 15 years. Shooting clubs, bombing planes, kidnappings (maybe they kidnapped this chicks family and made her do something, who knows?)

They've had some disruptions. Certainly not anything close to a "hotbed" like some of those middle eastern Muslim countries

Authorities will examine this video for years, if true. Based on what we know to date; the guy lived a pretty anonymous life. Recording his carnage leaves a mark on history, IMO. I'm just wondering how long it will be before this video hits the World Wide Web.

No, so I said "possible"....just weird that she (in addition to the other oddities), has multiple identities.
