On the police broadcast, he stopped shooting before the cop went from the 31st to the 32nd floor at around 11 minutes and 30 seconds. Either he shot himself after shooting the guard, or he just stopped shooting and randomly shot himself

Judging by the headshot photo, I think he was dead for an hour+.

The fact that it wasnt removed makes me wonder if swat even saw it. Scary stuff.
I would think before entry, they would have removed or disabled it.

Well also his state of mind. He doesn’t seem to have been emotional or not thinking straight, or on drugs.

agreed......seems as if everything happened the way he expected. Assuming he believed the first set of cops were coming in.

In 10-12 minutes of shooting, 59 people were killed and 527 were injured. That's incredibly terrifyingly.

What's incredible is that he didn't kill far more people than he did with that much ammo and that much time.

I'm so interested to hear more info about the motive of this guy, if he had one at all of course. The next 48 hours is going to be a long wait. I suspect we won't hear much else until they have his GF in custody and have talked to her for a long, long time

I thought that too, but I'm not sure how effective it was given the hammer and the way the windows looked in photos. Makes sense though.

He had more time and obviously ammo than he thought though. He mistook a security guard who was separated from the team as the calvary coming into the room. Dude had ammo for days that went unfired. That's pretty rare in these events.

Obviously I don't feel bad for him, but he must have gotten REALLY spooked and offed himself pretty early. He definitely could have kept going.

I agree completely.
Of course a little while ago I asked a question regarding something bizarre/foolish that he did and the thread idiots berated me and said its because he was crazy.
