This posted on the Facebook page of the wedding planner from Baton Rouge that WAFB interviewed.
So update. I just spoke to workers here at Paris Hotel. They confirmed when we were hunkered in the snack shop that a man with a rifle came in the Paris Hotel Lobby & fired a shot. Donna Gail & I heard the shot & glass shattering and then screams and panic. This is where I was scared for my life. Not sure why media is not reporting this. Also staff of Paris said staff of Bellagio also had a shooter. Which a woman had proof on her Facebook live feed. This is where Paige Lute was. Omg.

Newsweek reporting the shooter rented two adjoining rooms and that the police found out what room he was in thanks to a fire detector which went off due to gunfire smoke in the room.

What he did was horrific. But he had enough shite to kill infinitely more people.
It almost seems like he stockpiled everything and then though, "frick I'm over it, I'm ready to make my move."
I'm assuming he didn't want to get caught before at least doing something. But then why the shite did he take 23 firearms to MB? He couldn't have used more than 3 of them.
Why take SO much?

not really.... the sound from the shooter was evenly spaced. i'd bet anything it was a fully automatic ak 47, that's exactly what it sounds like.

I honestly am surprised this crazy sick fricker didn't have a bomb ready to blow everything up around him when he finally got done shooting or when authorities were closing in on him. Just makes me sick knowing all those people died at the hands of this crazy mofo.

I have. For some reason I didn't think they were very effective. Similar to putting a sock on the doorknob at a house party
