Does anybody else notice when there is some sort of public tragedy on all the boards of TD the provoking "bots" come out in full force and everyone think they are alters. Clicks$$_

There were some reports of finding people that had been hit well beyond the area of the concert, so you are probably correct.
As tragic as this is we should be thankful he didn't put more thought into being more accurate, or doing something even more deadly. The guy was a pilot and deranged, he could just as easily have filled up the fuel tanks on a Cessna and fly it right into the concert crowd killing probably hundreds.

And that's why I don't think he was all that inaccurate all things considered. I haven't heard anything about him peppering the back of this stage. And at least at first, it doesn't seem like he was spraying the very back of the crowd all that much. From 400 yards, with extremely rapid fire, he was hitting the front center of the crowd.
I feel like there would be bullets hitting hundreds of yards off target. Like, SEVERAL streets over and into buildings all over the place.
Ok maybe not buildings, but other areas.

The security guard who made initial contact is a hero. At a minimum he distracted him long enough and probably forced him to end the massacre early…

That's filmed from the foundation room. The club at the top of Mandalay Bay. I was up there in June. That is crazy hearing the gun shots. Like watching a war movie.
