Light the exits? People were told to lay down on the ground until they realized they were going to be shot in the back from above. I don't think anyone initially knew WTF it was coming from. Then they panicked.

But lighting the exists makes sense if you don't know what is happening. It is happening in real time, people don't always make the best decisions in a massacre.

Although, it's probably referencing the drink.

Or, maybe there were multiple shooters.

Well let's dive into that then. How would that work?

There'd have to be more broken windows in the hotel right? If there were shooters in other rooms.

Or are you saying he's just the one shooter who didn't make it out the room? He was the fall guy? The sacrifice?

Or they were on rooftops or something? But if it was multiple shooters, why did he go set up and break windows and the others chose rooftops?

Something like the lights coming on when it's time to exit?

Maybe so. I just thought it was odd that they turned the stage lights off after the shooting started, but turned the high beams on the audience as it was being fired upon.

Shooter's likely view as he was 400 - 450 yds away from the crowd. He was not aiming and "sniping" people, but rather spraying lead to take out as many as possible. Very surprised there were not more deaths or injuries given the situation.
Prayers sent up for LV :( Lots of sick people in this world

Bro, they had to get out.

It's Vegas. It wouldn't have been hard for the shooter to find the completely dark venue that he'd been looking at for days. At that point, everyone would be in the dark just catching fire.

More trampling would've happened if people couldn't see where they were going. Try running out of a dark 10x10 room with 30 other people in it, and come post your results

Many people were trampled or injured jumping over things or hit with shrapnel.

Possibly. I don't know.

We only know what we've been told up until this point. Was there a camera on the 32nd floor? Do we know for a fact that he was the only one in that room pulling the trigger(s)?

Stupid question, I have seen videos. People walking around, drinks in hand, calm, maybe in shock. Some crouching, some looking like "No big deal". Who are the people that look like nothing happened? It was strange.

Could the shooter see the stage, or would he have been looking at the back of the stage? It looked like he was facing the stage, so I am surprised he didn't shoot at the stage.

its worth noting that the only "real" exit was in the front left corner, which is closest to this guys hotel

so ones initial thoughts when hearing the gunshots, might be to head for the exit - well, unfortunately, the exit happened to be right in the line of shooter

eventually, people started hopping a ten-foot fence once they could identify where the shots were firing from

that modified gat crank
I watched that part of the video, no sound.

What's the advantage to that crank over a normal bump fire, which I watched on YouTube and looked much simpler?

Why must we try to create a conspiracy for every event? One nut decided to do this. Thankfully only one nut.

Also, I assume you have to hit lights for the standard situation. Active shooters on the ground or shooter. Have to be able to see the bad guys. The Paris club shooting. People running around a blacked out venue? The Orlando nightclub. I don’t think the lights were ever turned on until it was over.

There are two windows out in two different rooms. Fox News was saying paddock was utilizing both rooms but I wasn't clear if he shot from both rooms or not.

People crawled. Got on their knees. Ducked. Hid. Ran. Stood there confused. Looked around for people they knew. Helped others.

People react differently and people were figuring out what was happening at different times. Plus nobody knew where the shots were coming from.
