Could have, but the point is we don't know. But shel has the case solved already so no need for discussion.

don't think it had anything to do with country music fans.

You got to think that he thought it fit the demographic he was targeting. but that's just me.

It's not a bad assumption, but guys like the Virginia Tech shooter just walked into a random hall to start shooting. There may not be a clear motive as to why he chose the festival other than the fact that it was a ton of people.

Given the room size and his apparent penchant for gambling I'd bet he rolled right up to the valet and had them unload everything.

Anybody have a summary of what we have found out since 7AM? If you can link me to a page in the thread if a summary was already done? TIA

I have to assume they are questioning the valet, no? Not for suspicious reasons, but to get facts

I would bet he chose the festival because of its size and also his comfort in the Vegas area since he seemed to have been there often to gamble .

Of course the shooter owned a house in Florida

Always some connection to it.

I'm watching local news in West Palm and they are talking to his neighbors in Viera, quiet, only there every couple of weeks, kept to himself. They are sitting down with his next door neighbor for 6 pm est. I'll post anything good, but I doubt there will be much info.

Honestly the title states the biggest news.

Shooter was a big gambler and a regular at some of the casinos.

Shooter killed himself before police breached his room.

Shooters girlfriend out of the country.

Shooters family is stunned.

Some reports are that shooter was a wealthy real estate investor.

Eight to ten guns found in his hotel room.

It's a convention hotel. People show up all the time there for stays with their own personal items, then multiple hard cases of tradeshow stations, materials, etc. Give the bellhop $10 and they'll be in your room in 15 minutes.

Yea, we don't literally know the how but in a bag is the only feasible or logical options, I can't see what else there could be?

Vegas shooter had recent large gambling transactions

That can go multiple ways. He could have been in dire need of money, or he could have simply been planning on dying and enjoyed the high of high stakes gambling with no worries about the money considering he was going to kill himself soon.

It has to have been mentioned that these AR's can be broken down into pieces where the longest one would be like 24" right. Good luck trying to spot suspicious bags.

Vegas is literally the easiest place on earth to get guns into a hotel room.

Do you know how many conventions and weird shite happens in Vegas? I mean valets see weird shite every 10 mins there. Think about the boxes and bags of crap people bring to conventions, its never ending in Vegas. I would be more surprised a Valet even remembers him from 3-4 days prior than him looking suspicious at all.

Understood. But they could still question the valet for facts, i would. Not sure why you would want to rule everything out

With something as big as this, I wouldn't be surprised at all if the valet remembered

I'm not saying they won't or should not, I'm just saying expecting the valet to think there was something abnormal going on is grasping at straws.

He could have had a huge box labeled horse dildos and it be half filled with 36 inch dildos and half filled filled guns, and that been pretty normal for vegas.
