So you think EVERYONE should be armed? I am sure everyone on this board knows people who they are happy hasn't decided to practice their 2nd amendment rights. No bull shite. I have an uncle who was hit by a car when he was 2 years old. My mom has 7 siblings, he is the youngest, one of the older siblings was supposed to be watching him, she was on the phone and he got away. Ran into the road. He had to have a plate put in his head. He is able to function, he is a truck driver, but he is strong AF and has a short fuse. My grandmother had him after my mom had my brother and sister, who are 10 and 11 years older than I am. He would come sleep over at our house becomes him and my brother were close in age, dude beat up pretty much every kid their age in our neighborhood. He beat up a dude who is not a state trooper. My brother told me he hit him so hard the dude went limp, turned around and just dropped. The next time he was at our house him and my brother was out in the neighborhood and the dude he hit came outside, saw my uncle and ran back inside. His reason for doing it? He didn't like the way he looked. This is a lot just to get to the point, but trust me, you wouldn't want someone like him to have a gun. He has little impulse control. He hated Bon Jovi and when I was a teenager me and my cousins who were my age or close to my age started fricking with him one day. We kept singing living on a prayer to him. I had an uncle who picked a sack of pecans that he left at my grandparents (which is where the uncle I am talking about still lived at the time). The first thing he could find to do some damage were the pecans. He lit us all up. We all had big welps. He ended up throwing more than a half of sack at us. A little while later my uncle came to pick them up and was pissed when he saw it was more than half empty. Which lead to him and my crazy uncle getting into an all out fist fight. My grandpa wasn't home from work yet so my grandma had to break out the hose pipe to spray at them to get them to break up. I can tell you some wild stories, but when you say "you should be armed". you do mean everyone right? Im all for the 2nd amendment, but not everyone should have a gun

Have a Maine Forest Service helicopter and another circling the Lisbon boat dock. I guess that’s not surprising if they’re diving there.

Same with why it took them til 3pm yesterday to search his house……

I may be wrong but I thought it was a relative’s house in a nearby town and not his house.

I thought someone mentioned it was his families house but he was living there. Not sure if true though.

He could have had a jet backpack. Maybe that’s why they had all of those helicopters?

I think they would have a BOLO on that vehicle if they had that information so I’m thinking they didn’t have camera’s unfortunately

Divers going in the water at the boat ramp today.

How in the hell did they not do that yesterday?

They made it sound like other agencies will be doing the diving. They were also working with the power company that controls the dams to lower the water level in the search level and reduce the water current.

I think the helicopter that was just circling was looking at the islands in the river. He circled 3 areas and all 3 were islands.

I bet he had a home made sub that can jump over damns like a dolphin. Sweatest escape vehicle eva!

ETA: Seriously though, I was thinking suicide at the boat ramp. But how? If he shot himself there is most likely blood evidence somewhere. Like shot yourself on the dock and fall in the water? IDK.

Haven't been able to keep up since sometime yesterday until now, so sorry if this has already been addressed. It sounds like, listening to that press conference and what he said when he first went to the maps, they may have some info that he killed himself. I understand "looking for evidence", but until he is found, why not just secure these areas of interest and press forward with all available assets to find the mfer? Like, why would they be dragging the water with nets while the perp is still not in custody?

Seems the apprehension teams should be given more priority over they "investigative" teams. Just my opinion as someone who has no experience in a manhunt and simultaneous mass murder investigation, so I could be way off.

I thought it was a good press conference too. Was pretty disappointed in FOX after talking about how poor of a press conference it was and then had an expert on talking about how brilliant this coward's plan was and how him choosing two locations instead of one made it easier for him to get away. Pretty horrible reporting in my opinion.

It just aggravates me knowing everyone is doing everything they can to find this guy while keeping people safe and the reporters seem upset they don't have more to share. Sometimes I think reporters think the real world operates like episodes of NCIS.
