Not remotely close. The number of people who want to abuse and mutilate yours or anyone’s kid is minuscule and they are also mentally ill. What I know, not believe, is that the APA definition of delusion disorder would, by any measure, include adults who truly believe in angles, not simply wanting angels to exist.
I think most people would agree a person who would hijack and airplane and fly it into the side of a building is crazier than a shite house rat. In at least one notable instance of several people doing just that the crazy bastards were convinced God told them to do so. Obviously that didn’t happen but they apparently believed it did. That’s a far cry from wanting there to be more than we know. That level of crazy is not faith, it’s fricking insanity.
