Saw the same dumb shite in Texas. Yet we keep going down and not back up.
Truth is people will still wear them but hopefully enough people stop which will lead to more and more stopping the nonsense. Especially if vaccinated. Absolutely asinine for people that have been vaccinated to wear masks.
Our schools already ended the mandate for summer school and won’t have it next year. I don’t think Texas will even allow/fund online options for next year either.

I am seeing less and less people wearing them in my area and no one wears them up in East Texas.

If our numbers were over 1k new daily cases still, I might would think different, but our numbers have been steadily on the decline for months now at this point this thing is all but over.

Thats what I was told 2 weekends ago that it was being lifted.
Then was given similar info yesterday by fire marshal employee and our fire chief.
I'll believe it when I see it but seems to be some smoke from sources that should be somewhat connected.
The same employee told myself and many others about the announcement of fairs and festivals being allowed 2 advisories ago and was correct

Yeah. People in the cities are still wearing them but not really anywhere else.
Stores say you need them but they don’t actually do anything about it. Like H-E-B has a 16 year old asking you if you need a mask but people just say no and they don’t do shite about it.
The stupidity of needing a mask after a vaccine is absolutely asinine. The chance is so extremely low. People have had plenty of time to get a vaccine in Texas. Dumb as frick to continue wearing them to “protect” the unvaccinated at this point.

NOLA for sure...could see BR, but here in Shreveport Perkins has basically burrowed underground after getting boat raced in his last election. On top of that, his mandate got bitch slapped down by a judge last time he tried.

that was his threat to cut off water supply to businesses that didn't enforce masks, which was government overreach as frick
