Updated mandatory evacuation map for those who have interests in the area:

Another neighborhood, Meadowview, was added to the mandatory evac list around 15 minutes ago.

I live within a mile of the evacuation area, weird freaking day man. Think we’re good for tonight. Unreal how quickly this moved and much damage seems to be done to infrastructure

I used to live just a few houses in from 103rd/Simms, right across the street from that huge open space offleash dog park north of Standley Res. Could hear the coyotes yelping in the evenings. Hope the folks in that neighborhood get lucky.

ETA: i have 2 friends that live in Candelas west of Standley Res, which apparently is now in the yellow “get your shite ready to evacuate” zone. Damn.

Fortunately, some areas are being dropped from the pre-evacuation orders. Arvada was dropped a bit ago.

I also saw that one of the University of Colorado football coaches lost pretty much everything.

Fire units have also started responding again to individual fire calls. They weren't able to do that earlier this evening.

People need to live with trees. This is what happens in a dry field.

That’s crazy there’s no snow on the ground.

It's been dry as frick here for months. Last year 8 inches fell over labor day weekend and there seriously hasn't been 2 inches total snowfall all fall/winter.

Tomorrow Denvers supposed to get some tho thankfully.

What’s up with the line of cars in the left lane, is there a Buckey’s at that exit?
