Mine doesn't fit anymore. I always have it on me, but can't wear it.

Had mine cut off twice due to work cutting the crap out of me. Still have it, but being in and out the hospital, it got to be a PITA taking it off and giving it to the wife. So, I quit wearing it about 10 years ago.
Heck, I still get hit on all the time. Just something about older ladies these days.
It doesn't piss the wife off at all. She knows I will not go that way. Been married 38 years to the love of my life.

A friend of mine’s wife calls it the ring of power. Elevates your chances at a meaningless one night stand dramatically.

Nope
I burned my ring finger as a child and mine makes the finger hurt when I wear it.
Plus I'm always looking to upgrade or go younger

I've never been a person to wear rings or any type of jewelry around my hands, since I work a lot with my hands.

going on 17 years still wear mine. After that long you don't even notice it. I take it off at gym and when fishing.

quote:Injured that finger, and it has never returned to original size. Too lazy to go get the ring resized.
and if not, why?

wore one for a while but had to keep taking it off while working around electronics. After a while i just never put it back on. I don't wear any jewelry, not even a watch.

Been married only about 3 months. My wedding ring is about 8mm wide and is a 12.5, 14k gold. This thing is heavy heavy. I wear it every day because I work in an office and there's no excuse.
I will likely continue to wear it until I die because it makes my wife happy.

I wear mine unless I'm at the gym or cooking. Sometimes after cooking, I accidentlly leave it on the ring holder for a day or so. Not a big deal.

it's the only piece of jewelry i've ever worn every day, so yes.
when i do yard work, work-out, or run. i switch to a silicon ring.

Finger jewelry wasn't allowed where I worked. Got out of the habit of wearing it when away from work. I might put it on 4-5 times a year is about all. Doesn't bother the wife in the least - as long as she has plenty to wear.

In and out of plants on a weekly basis and it become a chore to hide it in the truck or at the hotel and not have a maid make off with it. Wife has gotten used to it I will wear it for church or other occasions, but 90% of the time I do not wear one. Plus being left handed a ring made it a bitch to write after awhile.

when I was a kid I had a friend from school/church, her dad was a lineman for the power company, his wedding ring, over time, wore a thin spot in his insulated gloves, one night during a bad storm he was called out to hep restore power, the gold ring arced with high voltage and he was killed, we were only 6-7 at the time, don't know why but I always think about that
