So why wouldn't you be committed to being a father? If you can't be a committed parent AND have a job, you probably should never have kids

Feminism has convinced women they can have both

Once a child is introduced a woman should shift her priority to raising the kid and keeping the house. Not her career. If that makes me a sexist so be it.

This is feminist logic

Males and females evolved to have different gender roles

Men are the providers

Women are the keepers

More like wages are stagnant and inflation isn't so people need 2 income households to survive. Blame feminists if it makes you feel more manly.

I bet he has to share eggo waffles for dinner and eat bread sandwiches for lunch

Then spends his disposable income on patreon accounts of various feminist icons

Also...when the woman is working she is contributing to the couple's retirement planning/saving.

Some couples may be able to get by letting the mom stay home, some are not. It doesn't make a woman less of a devoted mother if she works.

Yes. Everyone who disagrees with you must be poor. Brilliant.

Doesn't sound like those people should be having kids then.

But society has taught people that no matter their income, having children is their right.

I agree with you

Day care is also expensive as frick.

The mother would have to make A LOT, or, grandparents live nearby, to justify her working IMO.

Now if its a career and job she loves , maybe an exception could be made. But if its some shite job, nah, stay at home and care for the kid.

It really all comes down to what you value the most and what to spend your money on.

A man doesn't need to earn 300k if he's married and has kids to be a baller. A man with a wife and kids doesn't need to be a baller anyway.

Moreso, not every woman wants to be a stay at home mom. I would rather work and someday get to retire WITH my husband than stay home and have him work until he dies.
