Big Pharma’s biggest asset in controlling the world is the fact that the vast majority of people do not know how to or just choose not to analyze articles and assorted news pieces properly.

tl;dr ppl are intellectually lazy.

I guess that's fair.

I would imagine it’s like alcohol. If you do it every day, it’s gonna be bad for you.

Smoking anything everyday is definitely not good for you

stigma. Pot smokers and their enablers are convinced that going around stoned ALL THE TIME is acceptable and they can just do their thing.

Do tobacco. Its far worse than heroine

You can't seriously believe that heroine kills and makes more people sick than tobacco can you?

I have known junkies and 2 pack a day cigarette smokers and 2 of the latter I know personally literally died of malnutrition because they could not eat and would not stop smoking. The starved to death....heroine will kill you graveyard dead but I would bet the people who starve themselves to death for heroine is small in number....and most of them probably smoke or smoked cigarettes at some point....

Powerful evidence links the drug to heart attacks, strokes, severe mental illness, and even suicides.

The correlation with SMI and suicide is that if you have underlying mental health issues, it can exacerbate those. There have been limited incidences of psychosis in high level, high THC usage but as with anything it’s about moderation.

Those studies usually don’t do a great job of accounting for the variable of underlying mental health issues, especially if they’re underreported. And a lot of folks will self-medicate with THC.

I drink and don’t consume marijuana; alcohol is vastly more harmful and destructive than marijuana, and I’m not sure how any rational person could argue otherwise.
Of course it is.

Alcoholism doesn't run in my family, it gallops.

What, our bodies have an endocannabinoid system? Well then there is no doubt it can be used as medicine.

I just started smoking again after years of not, and I can say, the new strains definitely don't make you drowsy. I'm very active and get tons of stuff done after smoking.

Personal choices that increase your risks of significant health issues like smoking, excessive alcohol consumption, etc should not be the burden of others. Health issues that are not self induced with drugs or alcohol, should be covered.

So speeding, if a person gets in a car accident they caused, shouldn’t be covered? Or if they get hurt playing a sport, shouldn’t be covered?

After all, both are avoidable and self induced.
