I was shot 4 years ago and was left with severe nerve pain from a severely damaged ulnar nerve. Nerve blocks, 7 different nerve medications at max doses, and diet changes didn’t work. I never used a drug in my life till I was 30, but after 18 months of only getting an average of 3 hours of sleep a night I bit the bullet and tried marijuana. It completely changed my life! I sleep 8-9 hours at a time and wake up without an alarm while being pain free all but 3 hours of my waking day. The other medicine caused severe drowsiness, weight gain, severe ED, irritability, lethargy, and a host of others. With vaporized THC oil used right before bed, I have zero side effects and I actually have a life.

Another pic of this strain I recently picked up. Called Tropical Cookies, it's been surprisingly helpful for my Sciatic pain

ETA

This shite smells amazing btw, and its after taste is like a hint of watermelon candy flavor, and real blueberries combined.

2nd from the right is called "Jack Herer". Makes listening to music and taking a walk alone through nature a lot of fun.

Your friend should get a combination of THC/CBD oil to help with the pain. They work well together to fight pain

If that doesn’t work, I know some people who have had success with Kratom.

FWIW my SO suffers from severe nerve pain (trigeminal neuralgia) and thc / CBD is the only thing that helps. Best of luck

eta and as others have said, a pain rub with thc/CBD combo makes for great pain relief

I'm supposed to be taking gabby right now, but I remember it treating me a little weird before.. Strange side effects common?

If you don’t drink it might make you sleepy the first time you take it. Other than that, none that are common that I’m aware of.
