My question is, should manscaping be a consideration? I'm well under 50, fully a dad bod, but I've got a lot of living left to do. I kept things manageable while married & obviously let that go in the last months before losing my wife.
I would shave (face, chest) or trim (arms, legs, junk) my body hair even if I lived alone in a cabin in the forest. In fact, if I went on Naked and Afraid, my one survival tool would be a handheld mirror. So yes, I would recommend not looking like a sloth or woolly mammoth on the off chance that you run into a woman at some point (or look at yourself in a mirror). I do recognize that I have some vanity issues though so others may not offer the same advice.

I go for the Orthodox Jew look. Takes time to grow but worth it. Sounds like you may be halfway there.

Bald eagle. Women want a hairless body. Trust me.

No they don't, I've had multiple women say a bald dick is not sexy as it looks too boyish. Trimmed is the answer.
To answer the op, manscape until you are no longer interested in a blowjob.
Btw, good luck you are about to have an amazing run of chicks trying to break your dick with sympathy sex if you are only moderately successful.

How small is your junk?
My main issue with men shaving is that it's scratchy as frick after a day or so. The scratchiness can be very unpleasant during sex. Trimming instead of shaving solves this problem.

I just go over everything with clippers with a #1 guard every once in a while

Why do you shave your arm pits?

Sorry so long but....
Speaking as a woman, i prefer men who are men, not guys who shave their chest or privates or armpits. Trimming and keeping things neat and clean is obviously advisable but I don't understand this shaving of the chest and regions below. If a guy does that as a personal choice then it's fine but i wouldn't want him to do it in an effort to attract me because that just doesn't do it for me.
I don't want my man to look like a porn star. I love the dad bod because I just think guys with them to be cuddlier, sweeter and more down to earth than someone who obsesses about their appearance. Sure it is nice to look good but being overly concerned with it is a turn off to me.
I know how difficult it can be to get out there after losing a spouse (my fiance died suddenly so I have been thru that and can empathize with what you have gone thru).
To me, it is all comes down to personality, how he treats me and how he makes me feel. That's what makes him attractive to me. I don't want a man to change himself to try and attain some idealized stereotypical type. I like individuality and someone who is comfortable in their own skin. i find the little unique qualities (that some may see as a flaw or less than "ideal") to be endearing and sweet.
I wish the best of luck in finding love again. It has been almost 10 years since my fiance died and I can honestly say that I am happy again with my SO (and all of his adorable little perfection and quirks that make him who he is). We adore each other and just love each other for who we are.

I believe you are at about the right age and should do some manscaping. This is the age where all the divorced moms have all the grown kids out of the house and are looking for some fun. if you have money and are an average to descent looking guy you should have no problem finding some descent females to have fun with.

Let's be real for a moment here. You don't want a guy who looks like a porn star because no guy who looks like a porn star is coming on to you.
And you don't want a guy who's in great shape and works on himself because that would make you feel self-conscious about the flaws in your appearance.

I'm 26 and don't do anything but shave my face and occasionally trim my pubes to where it's not a jungle.
I've found most women either don't care or they actually like it. Especially older women near your age. They think a man shaving all or most of his hair is a sign of insecurity

The answer is:
If your wife or SO is still keeping it together then so should you. No one wants to frick a Sasquatch

Some do. Hell, there's plenty of guys that like hairy women. I'm a pretty hairy guy and the one time I shaved my chest my wife begged me to never do it again. Now, if I was out dating, I'd probably trim just to play it safe.

Based on the post count and the username, I'm going to say OP is fake and is instead just some alter that fantasizes about middle aged naked dudes.
