As long as you don’t have to go to Nola for work, hell yeah a small town like Bush would be cool. I hate crowded areas with a passion.

If you commute into a city to work it’s usually because you’re too poor to afford proper accommodations in said city, aka trashy poor

No I cannot afford to live in the affluent areas of Houston. Most people can’t. I can afford to live in some OK areas of the city, but I get way more bang for the buck in the suburbs.
“Trashy poor” is the Section 8 trash that destroys neighborhoods. But I know you’re just trying to score a cheap wokeness point, so frick you.

Meh, I've lived here on and off since I was about 10, now live here with a wife (also from here) and 2 kids, live in a great location, dont deal with traffic and havent seen a begger other than those dudes sometimes at lights that act like they are in some religious organization. I have no complaints, family is safe and the roads dont frick up our cars, pretty happy.

I’d take any of the subdivisions off West Causeway over Old Mandeville all day

That's where I am, very nice, not that I'd turn down a house in old mandeville but I couldn't afford what I'd want over there

I’m in Mandeville 5 days a week driving all over the town and have yet to encounter a beggar. My office is half a mile from the intersection he referenced, fwiw.

You're a liar. I live in Mandeville, been here for a year and have been around town for a year prior to that. I'm all over town every week. I am amazed how little trash I see. Low levels of crime. Never seen a beggar. I have not once seen a homeless person (obvious homeless situations). Mandeville is very clean and peaceful! Not what I was used to seeing in Denham and BR.

All of the beggars hang out at the I-12 Hwy 21 interchange when it's begging season.

Fun fact. Beggars in Slidell need a permit.

The idiot talking about “beggars” is actually talking about some black church group soliciting donations on 22 and 190. Annoying but far from beggars

St. Tammany is a wonderful place compared to most of shithole LA

Lake Ramsey is still great. Put a gate at the front of your subdivision and it keeps the trashballs out

The northshore is arguably the nicest area of the state. I love it here. Has the NOLA vibe without the NOLA issues. Definitely on the up and up. Not sure what this idiot is talking about.

Fresh Market has better fruits and vegetables. I like the beef at Whole Foods a little more.
