So you are a general contractor and an engineer? Impressive?

Did he run away from or towards the truck? Did he attack someone who was lawfully trying to perform a citizens arrest ? The media wants to make this like this young man was simply jogging through the neighborhood and a couple of good old boys decided to pick off a black man with their shotgun like they were sitting in a tree stand hunting deer. That ain’t how this went down. All three will walk and the charges will be dismissed.

At what point was the trigger pulled ?
After they chased him in a truck with guns drawn, but before he attempted to disarm younger baw. Right around the time younger baw came around the front of the truck to cut him off with a shotgun at point blank range

Correct. Why would I want to pay an engineer to stamp my plans?

I wonder why they don’t start threads like these with their outrage. Black man beating white men and women in their beds at nursing home.
Maybe you should start one. It probably wouldn’t go for 10 pages though, because you wouldn’t have some neckbeard with a victim complex arguing that the black guy was innocent.

Nah, more like they were hunting deer out of a moving vehicle from the road...oh wait, that's illegal too

Based on what? I’m actually interested to hear a theory where this is justified.
Unfortunately, the theory where a large segment of the local population that will fill a jury look and act like the McMichaels. All they need is one fellow croc wearing neckbeard on the jury

I'm from Arizona and have only spent a short visit in the South. I enjoy a lot of this board, like the H&F board and there are some cool people.
You've spent pages defending something indefensible and acting like this some political litmus test instead of a human being being gunned down dead.
All your posts about Arbery's past do is show you can't see a video in front of your own eyes for your agenda. It's like the worst stereotypes I hear about the South in a pages long anger crusade.

The fact that they pursued him is completely irrelevant . They were performing a lawful act of investigating and pursuing a citizens arrest. Not one shot was fired until he charged and tried to disarm the shooter. No different then a police officer pulling the trigger when someone is trying to take their weapon.

I’ve only argued the merits that this is a race hustle. And you have fallen for it.
AGAIN

That’s odd . You have repeatedly referred to yourself as a former contractor and said I used to be a general contractor after Katrina. So you are back at it?

Yeah. In all of the other videos he didn’t seem like a young angry black man who had a problem with authority.
What authority did they have?

I feel like some of you who keep repeating this are doing it intentionally even though it’s been clarified numerous times that, according to Georgia law, they had no right to do a citizens arrest

No. Because it wasn’t a lawful citizens arrest. He had to knowingly commit a felony for them to attempt to detain AND pursue by Georgia law. As listed on the police report, Arbery committed misdemeanor criminal trespassing at worst.

Wrong
quote:Georgia law states you're wrong
They were performing a lawful act of investigating and pursuing a citizens arrest.
quote:you could not be more wrong
No different then a police officer pulling the trigger when someone is trying to take their weapon.

I said it in another thread and you ignored me. So I’ll say it again:
Either you think the McMichaels are guilty and you’re just trolling everyone over race, or you think they are innocent and you’re hiding behind the “muh white guilt” narrative like a coward.
So which is it? Do you think the McMichaels should walk or not?

unfortunately there are a lot of people like Errerwere down here, which is why the south leads in obesity and illiteracy, etc. But his breed is fortunately dying off faster than they can reproduce.

Under certain circumstances you lose the privilege of self-defense and arguably pointing a gun at a guy for no reason is one of those circumstances. You can also regain the ability to use deadly force in self-defense, but I'm not sure that occurred here.
I won't be surprised if once we get into the details the McMichael's defenses improve, but I think that is going to have more to do with intricate matters of timing and the like rather than any new revelations about the McMichaels or Arbery.
