Man who lost his penis to a hospital bug receives six-figure payout

Pretty sure the payment had only moderately to do with what he lost.
The foundation of their case was they made a critical error mid surgery and it took them a week to notice.

Looks like this is in the UK? Had he been in the US he’d have gotten millions. A mother who’s child had brain complications due to a botched birth (should have been a c section and she even requested one) just received a 74M verdict. fricking New Mexico.
