Well if Tebow gets on his hand and knees and points his arse toward the dog....it might tilt the odds to his favor slightly...slightly.

A 6'3 230 lbs in shape human vs a German Shepherd. Hmmm. My initial reaction was "man every time", but there are several factors. It all depends on position. If the GS comes in and gets a grip on the human first, the dog will have a chance. If the dog starts to inflict first its a whole different ball game than if the human is able to get a hold of the dog first. The human can easily pick the dog up and body slam him then start kicking the shite out of the dog.. It would be a fight that could be decided in a matter of seconds. It might take a few minutes for death to occur, but its all about inflicting pain first.

If I were the GS, I would appear to run at the human, then quickly circle around and jump on the human. The human will probably be expecting the dog to attack on the ground and not jump at him, however; if the human reacts quick, he could easily grab the dog.. This needs to be thought about more.

It might make things a little more awkward for the dog.

The first part is true but the second part couldn't be any farther from the truth, when compared to animals.

Humans are weak, fragile, and soft.

Yea umm we aren't terminators here. If a limb is taken out in this fight, the fight is already over.

That size of a man could probably beat the dog to death.

I know there are GS wolf mixes, but for some reason it reminded me of something redneck posted on here years ago.

There was a thread about dogs or something and someone made a comment about a fox. And he goes on and says his friend had a dog that was half fox. I don't know why, but I thought that was funny, because I was pretty sure he was serious.. And its not possible for a dog and fox to breed.

Sadly, this was the case. He never met his father. He was born behind a dumpster and was the only one of his litter to survive.

Agree.

When these threads pop up, I always assume the average out of shape shitbag against the animal.

I did laugh at this guy talking about how it's no problem losing a limb because we have 4. Lol

I'm leaning towards the man, but I think you don't understand how arteries work.

I'm not trying to be rude. But arteries work in a certain way and I don't think you understand the way that that is.

Physical strength

Pound for pound, humans are incredibly weak when compared to other animals.

The biggest advantage here is that the man can physically lift and throw the dog. He really only needs to control the head.

Yes, but like I said I think it all comes down to position... Who is successful in the first move. If the human gets the dog controlled right away, he could strangle the dog with his arm, body slam the shite out of the dog and kick the ever living shite out of the dog, etc.. So from that point of it, man has the upper hand, but if the GS goes in and gets a grip on the human first, the the GS would have a shot.

Yeah, people don't realize this, but our biggest disadvantage in the animal world is that we are clumsy animals. We are bipedal, which is a huge disadvantage. A dog has more balance and more launching power from his position.

Opposable thumbs and our minds make us the most formidable and dangerous animal on the planet. It can't be discounted. A man of the size shown in the OP could probably suffocate the animal or beat it to death, but he won't come out looking good either.
