Teeth yes

Sharp Claws?? It's not a fricking cat or velociraptor..

History..lulz, those bastards were just really hungry back then.

I'm not nearly that size and have a slightly larger dog that is just as agile if not better than a GS.. I feel pretty confident in kicking a large dogs arse.

No it absolutely doesn't change a thing. The average male is the exact same as an average female.

Okay, this is what I am getting to. If a male or female who was 6'3" 230 lbs and muscular was fighting the GS would you agree the results were likely to be the same? In reality, where does it sex of the human play a factor?

depends on the fight in the dog, I had a 155lb. shepherd that was a specimen, but a lover not a fighter, I've got a 45 lb' heeler that would absolutely rip you a new one

I don't like to assume people are lying, so either you're wrong, or he was a specimen of obesity. I don't mean this as an insult it just baffles me how off people are on guessing a dog's weight. Now, if you saw it on the vet's scale and he just happened to go against everything the breed was meant to be, then I apologize.

Males stand 24 to 26 inches; females stand 22 to 24 inches. Weight ranges from 75 to 95 pounds.

accepted, he wasn't obese, and wasn't supposed to get that big, he looked like a werewolf, his head was as big as a Shetland pony's and he could pick up a basketball(reg. size,) with his teeth, got the weight off of the vet's scales btw

ETA: huge frame too, when he stood up on his hind legs he was as tall as me(typical OT build)

German Shepard wins. Tim Tebow would sacrifice himself before taking a life.

Scratch that..Apparently There's a guy in Texas breeding 200lbs+ GS's ...Something fishy about it though, but apparently not out of the realm of possibility.

If the man is named Carl Akeley, the dog stands no chance. He would probably eat it while it was still warm... fur, bones and all.

For those of you who dont know ole Carl... LINK

Bull shite.

why in the hell would I make up anything about a dead dog? the dog was a bit of a freak of nature in that his projected size wasn't supposed to get above about 75lbs., he was huge, our vet asked permission to use his pics in some vet journals and studies, I've had shepherds all of my life and I have noticed that the ones bred for colder climates, which this one was, are usually bigger, when this guy was a pup his paws were bigger than my wife's hands, his rear feet(from the joint to the paw were as big as my feet, he was a beautiful dog

Man but his non dominant arm will be fricked

There is a cop here in Tuscaloosa who while serving a warrant had a pit jump on him and bit his hand. He shoved his hand and forearm down the dogs throat. Dog started choking and quit biting him and his partner shot the dog in the chest.

Your sure??

I mean my dog is larger than the average for his breed and hes's only 12lbs above it... But that much of a difference is definitely in the anomaly category.

It all depends on the man.

Some would die, most would get fricked up and live to tell the tale.
