Probably best that he didn’t recover tbh. I’d hate to see how 160 degree sulfuric acid would disfigure someone

Sounds horrible. How does your body even react to that? Does survival instinct kick in, prolonging the pain while you fight to find an edge to survive? Or could you convince yourself that it's the end and just snap your neck or something to speed it all up?

Sadly, I think I recall that this is how former Olympic hurdler, Rodney Milburn died in an industrial accident at GP years ago. It wasn’t H2SO4 but still...a horrible way to go.

Likely neither. You’re probably unconscious before you know it. Body shuts down from shock.

Older style hog skinner is pretty rough too - big edged rotating blades - had an OSHA case years ago where a guy got skinned alive (bad lockout, tagout).

My grandfather died in a similar way when he fell into a vat of Guinness beer at the brewery. Terrible way to go, he had to get out three times to pee.
