I'd love to see the electric chair come back.
It needs to modernized with new features selected by victims family members.
Various modes are avaiable:
slow roast used for scum that murder children, families and pregnant women.
Medium roast mode for alkies that kill innocent people.
fast road mode: useless. anyone getting the chair needs it to hurt anyway.

It isn't dumb and incompetent prosecutors you need to worry about. Dumb and incompetent defense attorneys cause a lot more damage.

There are very few dumb ADAs in Louisiana.
There are a number of incompetent ADAs but that’s primarily from lack of experience.
However, they may come across as dumb and/or incompetent because their case load is overbearing ... especially for the pay.
Too many details in too many cases moving every day to keep up with all of it.
